Having worked in the independent film industry for over fifteen years, and with around 400 narrative film and professional music video projects in our portfolio, we understand the significance that film festivals play, as platforms for creating engagement, and for sharing your work and individual talents with a wider audience.

Mission Statement

Dragonfly International Film Festival is committed to providing an inclusive and supportive environment for all filmmakers, by awarding categories specifically for Lancashire Filmmakers, Women Filmmakers and Minority Group Filmmakers, we aim to celebrate the diverse talents of those who are sadly still underrepresented in the film industry.

Additionally, by awarding prizes for individual cast and crew members, we aim to recognise and celebrate the outstanding talents of the individuals who worked on your film.

Our mission is to showcase a range of notable short films, by screening them to an engaged and diverse audience of filmmakers and the general public, for whom independent film may not be readily accessible.
